Also the best way to explain the source code thing would be to refer to WikidPad - how you can see the wiki source and the rendered copy.

Thanks for the update. Another thought occurred.. I've seen the folder icons used in Crystal Office's Maple Pro in other applications.. I think they might be freeware icons.. would it be possible to put them into Mars? Also, from a design standpoint, what kind of contributions would be most useful t...

I know its portable!!! I'm running it from USB! :)

The "Mars Noteboo" is the most annoying thing I guess.. I might post on PortableApps and ask them to suss it out..

I was thinking it may be a good cheap way to make Mars Notebook more marketable by making it PortableApps compatible. I've tried putting the folder into the portableapps dir as is and that works.. except it shows up in the list as "Mars Noteboo" - without the k.. Would be a nice and probab...

Really glad to hear the contact/templates/custom form type things may be coming.. I wanted to create one for Website Info like..

A few programs out there do it, like WinOrganize and ActionOutline.. TreePad too.

Yeah I was loving WikidPad until I wanted something both more stable, supported & stylish.. ran into Maple and Mars.. Mars is winning right now for me due to Price and stability!

One thing I think of when I think of what it must be like for the developer is, what motivates him to keep working on really awesome new features (like embedding files..)
