Automatic database backup

Hi, I have Mars Notebook on Win 7 32 bit. I set the Automatic database backup "When database opened create it's copy" and specify a path. When I start it up, I get "There was an error saving database to another file!". If I go back into the preferences to look at the automatic back up settings, the path is blank. Any suggestions?
Hm, did you try to use another path?
May be the program doesn't have access to that folder.
And does it work with default path?

Yep, I've tried paths under my user folder and ones I've created as dedicated folders on the C: drive... same result each time. I switched it to save when closing and it worked once, then failed. Is there any logging or anything to help figure out the error?
Just try to leave Path option unchecked and make backups.
Also you can try to make backup manually from File->Database->Make backup to see if it works.
And there is no logging.

Manual backup works. It made a backup in the same folder as the main database. I tried a second time and it made another copy with "_1" appended.
Automatic backup still results in "There was an error saving database to another file!".
Both using default location.

And what about another type of autobackup? On close for example?
